A comprehensive system designed to manage the different models of healthcare organisations that exist around the world today. It can integrate several organisations and model a group of them, restricting actions and the data each one sees.

To fit any scenario and organisation, the solution lets each organisation model its own business rules and processes without development changes. Since those rules change for many reasons, the organisation can configure and manage the changes on its own, keeping pace with its growth with an optimal time to market.

A component architecture: modules that are independent of one another yet integrate to share all the information required. Organisations can deploy just some modules rather than the whole solution, and those they deploy are ready to integrate both with other K2BHealth modules and with any other product on the market.

The patient is the axis of every clinical operation: each act recorded in the system has the patient identified. K2BHealth gives patients access to their medical records, at the level set by the organisation's security policy. That encourages them to take a more active part in their own care: completing their active medication, booking appointments, seeing information about their condition and checking their test results, among other things.
One record per person
A valid electronic record needs sound policies that ensure each person exists only once. K2BHealth integrates EMPI technology to search for people, which ensures that uniqueness to a high degree. A person's identifying data is recorded only once, whatever role they play.

Data quality management
Clinical records feed epidemiological statistics, population monitoring and even clinical decisions about a patient. If the data is not of sufficient quality, every statistic and report the different teams rely on suffers. K2BHealth offers mechanisms to monitor and control the quality of the data entered.
Interoperable
Continuity of care requires clinical staff to reach all the clinical information whenever they need it. Since not all of it comes from the same system, communication between systems —imaging, emergency, laboratory— is ensured through interoperability.
Fully web-based
Usability is key to getting a clinical system adopted. That is why we use web technology: the system can be reached from any device and adapts to the screen size, so the experience is friendly for the people who use it.
