Caremove: In-Hospital Patient Transfer Management Software

Coordinate patient transfers, messaging, cleaning and other requests across your healthcare facility in a single flow, with notifications to the team's phones and real-time indicators.

Coordinate requests across your healthcare facility efficiently with Caremove, and streamline hospital management.

What is Caremove?

Caremove is a comprehensive solution created to simplify and streamline the management of service requests in healthcare facilities. With an intuitive interface, it is designed for both administrative and nursing staff, improving operational efficiency in the hospital's key areas: whoever needs something requests it from their ward, whoever carries it out receives it on their phone, and whoever coordinates sees the status of everything in real time.

Six areas where it brings order to requests

One flow — request, notify, carry out, record — for the tasks that today are coordinated by phone or from corridor to corridor.

  • Patient transfers

From the bed to the scan, from theatre to the ward: who is taking the patient, when they left and when they arrived.

  • Messaging

Documents, medication and items moving from one ward to another, fully traceable.

  • Bed cleaning

Cleaning requests when a bed is freed, so it is available again sooner.

  • Maintenance requests

Equipment, facilities and furniture that need repair, tracked through to closure.

  • Laboratory samples

Collection and delivery of samples to the laboratory without relying on phone calls.

  • Oxygen requests

Replacement of cylinders and critical supplies, with priority and a record.

Advantages of the management software

A complete solution for streamlining the management of hospital requests. These are its main features and benefits:

  1. Requests and tracking

Lets nursing and administrative staff place requests from their ward, stating origin and destination through a web system, and monitor the status of requests in real time.

    • Origin and destination
    • Real-time status
  2. Monitoring and data analysis

Gives access to key indicators, such as the number of requests and response times, supporting analysis and continuous improvement of the process.

    • Number of requests
    • Response times
  3. Intuitive interface

Both the web system and the mobile app offer a friendly, customisable interface, showing the relevant features according to each user's permissions and profile.

    • Web
    • Mobile app
    • Profiles and permissions
  4. Configuration and resource allocation

The web system provides tools to configure and manage all the information the system needs to run properly. It makes it easier to allocate the resources needed to carry out requests, leading to more efficient management and time savings.

    • Wards
    • Floors and beds
    • Resources
  5. Instant notifications and history

The app sends notifications to healthcare staff's mobile devices when a request is made, letting them respond quickly and access a history of the requests made over a given period.

    • Push to mobile
    • History by period
  6. Continuous improvement

Caremove provides a solid platform for request management, allowing ongoing adjustments and improvements based on users' needs and feedback.

What problems does it solve?

Effective coordination of requests in healthcare facilities is essential to guarantee optimal care.

Caremove prevents delays in hospital requests. Those delays can harm patient care and well-being, especially in emergencies.

Our management system also helps prevent the misallocation of resources. That keeps the workload fairly distributed, improving operational efficiency and the quality of medical care.

How a request flows

Five moments, all visible to whoever requests, whoever carries out and whoever coordinates.

  1. Creation

Nursing or administrative staff create the request from their ward in the web system, stating origin and destination.

  2. Notification

The mobile devices of available staff receive the alert instantly. Whoever takes it accepts it, or declines it giving a reason.

  3. Execution

The transfer, delivery or task is carried out with the necessary information at hand, and the requester sees the status in real time.

  4. Request completed

Whoever carried it out marks it as finished, and it is recorded in the history with its timings.

  5. Monitoring

Administrators track the number of requests and response times to adjust resources and improve the process.

How does it work?

Three components, one operation.

Mobile app

The mobile app for the healthcare team lets staff log in at the start of their shift and select their assigned ward. When there is a request, they receive a notification and can accept or decline it, giving a reason if they decline. Once accepted, they record the request and can access their history of completed jobs.

Web application

Caremove offers a web system that makes the daily work of nurses and administrative staff easier. It lets them monitor and manage requests. Administrators can assign staff, view the request history and access performance indicators. This central platform also manages the core information for the web and mobile apps, including staff management, the configuration of wards and beds, and integration with other devices.

Data analytics

Caremove provides a data analytics tool that, through an indicator dashboard, drives fast, efficient decisions in the management of hospital requests, optimising resources and improving patient care.

How is it implemented?

Caremove runs on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud, removing the need for your own infrastructure. Implementing the system is simple and takes three steps:

  1. User registration

Set up the staff who request, carry out and coordinate requests, with their profiles and permissions.

  2. Configuration of wards, floors and beds

The map of the institution as it actually works: wards, floors, beds and the resources available in each.

  3. Installing the app

The team installs the app on their mobile devices, logs in at the start of the shift and selects their ward. Ready to receive requests.

Frequently asked questions

Who uses Caremove inside the hospital?

Nursing and administrative staff create and track requests from the web system; the team that carries them out receives them on the mobile app; and administrators assign staff, review the history and access the indicators.

What kinds of requests does it handle?

Patient transfers, messaging, bed cleaning, maintenance requests, laboratory samples and oxygen requests. Wards, floors, beds and resources are configured to match each institution's operation.

Do I need my own infrastructure to run it?

No. Caremove runs on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud. Implementation takes three steps: user registration, configuration of wards and beds, and installing the app on mobile devices.

What happens if a staff member declines a request?

Whoever declines it gives a reason, which is recorded in the history, and the administrator can assign it to someone else from the web system.

Does it integrate with K2BHealth's HIS and other systems?

Caremove is part of K2BHealth's HIS offering, and its web platform manages integration with the institution's other devices and systems.
